The TAL BassLine-101 is a detailed recreation of a legendary monophonic synthesizer, now with up to six voices of polyphony. True to the original synthesizer, the BassLine-101 forgoes effects, bringing the focus to the pure tonality of the synth.
With a smooth filter that works reliably even at high resonances and high octaves, where most software emulations tend to struggle, TAL’s approach to detailed analog modelling is unparalleled. TAL have also added a new feature, filter-FM, where the waveform of an oscillator can be chosen to modulate the filter cutoff, opening up a new range of sounds that still fit with the sound and legacy of the original unit.
